The following printers work HP Photosmart C6280 All-in-One (printer can be selected from HP list), scanning via web interface (http://printer-ip), the Lexmark X543dn Print, Scan, Email works perfectly but requires download of Lexmark X543 ppd driver, scanning again performed via web interface http://printer-ip (note requires java plugin in browser). Tested with Firefox 4.0b11 and Java 6u23 and Java 6u24.

As far as printers go, it is probably worth adding a note about which printing system we use along with its version so those coming from other UNIX-like OSes have something more to go on.

Hi Ken,
Can the Device Driver Utility be modified to allow configuration information to be reported to the current sun.com address or device-reporting@openindiana.org for example.
Ken Mays
Yes, we could change the DDU to point to another email. Please submit that to the
bug reporter as an RFE!
